September 2002 - Knoch Manufacturing has now been recommended to be registered as an ISO 9001:2000 recongized facility.
May 6, 2002 – Dan Thomas, President of Knoch Manufacturing Co. Limited is proud to announce the appointment of Grant Milmine to the position of Plant Manager. Grant joins Knoch bringing with him a wealth of experience in fabrication and machining from local industries.
Announced on April 22, 2002 by Chairman John W. Mercer, that effective May 1, 2002, Douglas Astin has been appointed Chief Executive Officer responsible for guiding Knoch Manufacturing Co. Limited with the long-range strategic direction of the company. Succeeding Doug as President, responsible for all operational aspects at Knoch Manufacturing Co. Limited is Daniel Thomas formally Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Doug and Dan both possess enormous expertise and experience which is invaluable to the company and its continued prosperity.
April 2002 - Knoch Manufacturing has acquired a Okuma horizontial machining centre. This twin pallet unit is a model MA 60-HB machining centre with touch probe technology to provide improved value to our customers.
February 2002 - Knoch Manufacturing is now certified to CSA Standard W47.1 (Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Steel Structures) in Division 3 from the Canadian Welding Bereau.
January 2002 - Knoch Manufacturing is now certified to CSA Standard W47.2M (Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Aluminum) in Division 3 from the Canadian Welding Bereau.
January 2001 - Knoch Manufacturing has acquired a Okuma Vertical machining centre model MCV-4020B with 4 axis high precision capability and touch probe technology.
January 2001 -Knoch Manufacturing has expanded its second location at 95 Bessemer Road in London to over 11,000 square feet of manufacturing and storage. This move expands the production area and allows Knoch to consolidate storage from a third party warehouse facility.
